    Cliff Hanger is an adventure because he goes up a big mountian to save his dog grits. He did not focus on the storm, he just climbed and climbed up until he reached the edge...where his dog was located. His hair stood up because of the electricity in the storm.

    5. I believe that if Axel was not rescued during the storm that. He might have gotten hurt or got scared and jumped off the cliff in panic. He could have died with all the shock and no food to eat.

    he was moving side to side all the way to
    three feet. When he reached 3 feet he jumped and landed on his feet. His dad was there to watch him. His dad thought he could not do it, but he was surprised.

  6. 1. Cliff Hanger was like an adventure because Axel had to climb a mountain during a bad storm to rescue his dog Grits.
    2. The author compares Axel to a ballet dancer because he is graceful when climbing the mountain called Cathedral Wall.
    3. Axel was not afraid to go after Grits because he loves his dog and does not want him to get hurt. I would have waited out the storm then I would go get Grits.
    4. Axel and his dad get along and they care about each other. They love each other because at the beginning Axel's dad did not want him to climb the mountain during the storm.
    5. If Axel had waited until the storm was over Grits might have hurt himself or maybe fallen.
    6. I had an adventure like Cliff Hanger the first time I surfed because I thought it was very scary at first but once I got use to the feeling of it it was easy. I did not have to climb a mountain though.

    5 If Axel would of waited the storm out Gritz could of got struck by lightning or could of fallen off the mountain. I think he was smart to get him instead of waiting the storm out.
